The tool is made of 1/2" thick steel plate and can handle thicker gauges. It comes with six sets of dies (rollers). The male bead dies have space for sheet metal thickness, so they don't fit snugly into the female dies, but there are ample spaces for uniform radius bends. Their ID/shaft OD is an industry standard size. Some reviewers perceived quality issues, with some gouges in the frame and missing bolts.
