The Cal Hawk Tools CAPRSS 12V Remote Starter Switch is a product that has received mixed reviews from customers. They reported that the wires were too small and could not handle the amps, causing the switch to not turn the engine over and get hot. Customers also mentioned that the wire gauge was too small to crank even a small engine, the clip springs were too stiff and the crimp around the wire was not secure enough. Some customers also had issues with bad connections and very light gauge wire, which led to the switch not carrying enough current to energize the solenoid. One customer mentioned that they were able to use the switch while testing their outboard motor, but overall, the product was considered cheap and not worth the money.
