- Launchpad Mini puts everything you need to produce and perform in Ableton Live or your DAW of choice into a powerful, portable package. Its 64 glowing RGB pads can be used to trigger clips; play in beats and melodies; stop, solo, or mute tracks; and more, thanks to up to three Custom Modes. What's more, it's bus powered, works with the Launchpad app for iPad and iPhone, and fits in just about any bag. Launchpad, the legendary line of grid controllers, has always been about getting you hands-on with your sound. The original, released back in 2009 in collaboration with Ableton, spawned an entire genre of mashups, remixes, and original productions overnight. Today, the Launchpad range has evolved to power all types of setups - in the studio, on stage, and on the go with the Launchpad app for iPhone and iPad. Launchpad Mini allows you to build tracks, jam out ideas, or perform live by launching clips and scenes in Ableton Live, Logic, Bitwig, and more. Launchpad Mini's 64 RGB pads let you know exactly what's happening with your DAW's clips and scenes and allow you to create arrangements on the fly. The bottom row of pads doubles as Stop, Solo, and Mute buttons, and you can even use vertical columns of pads as faders.No keyboard, no problem. Keys mode lets you play Launchpad Mini like a chromatic keyboard. You get four octaves of notes with the lowest in the bottom left and the highest at in the top right. Unlike a piano keyboard, scales and chord shapes remain the same in every key, making Launchpad especially easy to learn. Drum mode recreates a classic 4x4 drum-pad layout in a section of your grid, allowing you to play beats or trigger samples in real time. The Novation Components software lets you customise Launchpad Mini to fit perfectly into your unique setup. Create a custom grid for your stage setup, a set of virtual faders for a favourite plugin, or a dedicated row of buttons for toggling effects - and lay it all out exactly the way you want. There's one dedicated slot for a new Custom Mode, and you can overwrite the Keys and Drum Modes to save two more. As well as being incredibly portable, Launchpad Mini is bus powered and designed to work with the Launchpad app for iPhone and iPad. Create and remix tracks with beats, basslines, melodies, vocals, and more, then layer in DJ-style effects to chop and change your sound on the go.
