Ring Editorial Review
The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro comes with a Bird’s Eye View and 3D Motion Detection. This hardware is easy to install, but you might want to hire a licensed electrician as the hardware comes with a junction box as well and requires wiring up live wires. The camera works with the Ring app, as well as Alexa, and does not require a subscription to view live feeds. The notification sound when motion is detected is generic, but users can download and use their MP3s for customized alerts. In case of a power outage, the device will most likely reset with the wifi, but it is recommended to keep the box and serial number to troubleshoot, and potentially receive free replacements if needed.
