The Bessey KP Rail and Stile Jig comes in a set of four blocks that are designed to securely hold your workpiece in place while you work. The slots are 3/8" wide and 2-3/8" & 1-3/16" deep, making them suitable for a variety of clamp brands and styles. One standout feature of this set is the base/foot attachment. While it may seem optional, it actually serves an important purpose in allowing your workpiece to rest on the top of the jig body, rather than on the rail of the upper clamp. By placing the blocks slightly up off the bench, the head and tail of the clamp can be more easily positioned than if they were resting directly on the workbench.
