The device typically reads the fingerprint in 2-3 seconds. The TCMS V3 software included has been excellent for the needs of the buyers and the support from Fingertec has been wonderful. The product can be downloaded with either a USB flash drive or via Wi-Fi. The USB port is conveniently located on the side of the device. If you want to use the Mac version, it only works if you upgrade to their cloud version called FingerCheck. It can be set up both inside and outside.However, according to a review, some employees were having trouble with finger recognition, having to retry a few times.
