The All-star Superman Paperback is a highly recommended comic book series with a great story that is a mini journey through Superman's history and characters, expertly adapted to a single storyline. The art was stylised, but captivatingly drew attention to the crucial components of the story, providing an enjoyable reading experience to all Superman fans. The depiction of Superman dying from sun radiation was a particularly poignant moment in the comic. Some readers found it difficult to follow the story and felt it moved too quickly with no weight to the narrative. However, the majority of readers loved the All-star Superman, proclaiming it one of the best Superman comics ever written, and evidentially, James Gunn pledged to draw inspiration from the comics for his upcoming film.
