The copper crush washer should be kept on the injector for proper spacing, inserted into the cup, and fastened using the injector hold-downs. This tool is not suitable for use with a Ford 6.0 or a 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 CDI injector. However, it is reusable after using the tool; a new cup Oring should be installed, and the bore should be cleaned up and tapped back in place.
