The MAGIX Music Maker 2016 Live is a software that has mixed reception amongst its users. It is a good software when it comes to editing, recording vocals, and mixing songs and has fifteen virtual instruments that are beyond reproach. It is easy to use but the interface is proprietary and not very intuitive, making it less suitable for those who prefer popular DAWs. The installation does not come with a CD or DVD and only comes with a code typed in at their website that downloads the program. A user in the FAQ section complained that the company limits the user to one computer preventing them from using it on multiple computers. Additionally, one user suggested that it seemed more like a demo than a full program. Despite the software not living up to the original promise of 6000 loops, the MAGIX team offers five additional free sound pools online for a little more than 3000 loops. Nonetheless, this program is Considered a good value for the money.
