The PHC ISO-1000 1000 Watts AC Isolation Transformer with Pass-Through Grounding is a high-quality transformer that offers true isolation and safety, with the added benefit of eliminating outside noise and ground. The transformer comes with a 3-to-2 pin plug converter that removes the chassis connection, leaving the load isolated. The product is well-Constructed and packaged, with a weight that is heavier than expected. The product is not designed to clean power from generators and does not come with a three-pronged cord. The Chinese mislabelled the rear of the product stating it is an 8 Amp fuse. The Specification sheet shows the fuse to be an AGC10. The front panel switch/circuit breaker is a NXP-63 D10 Amp 50HZ CHINT breaker. Users should not load the transformer with more than 800 watts to be safe. The transformer comes from China or Taiwan and may have a strong smell upon arrival.
