iPort Stands BaseStation Editorial Review
The LaunchPort is a charging base for iPads that uses an external power adapter and can handle input voltage between 110-220 volts. The iPad lights up when initially placed on the dock, then goes black and stays that way until you hit the main bottom button or take it off the charging dock. The sleeve is sold separately, and it needs to be purchased to use the device. The base comes with a plug pack, and the QI charger is not compatible with the LaunchPort. The device uses inductive charging, but you must have the sleeve as well. Overall, customers seem to have a good experience with the LaunchPort. Many mention that it is easy to use and looks sleek on their desk. However, some customers did have issues with their iPads not fitting correctly in the sleeve or feeling loose. Others mention that the product is expensive compared to other charging docks on the market.
