Waterlox 2000-GL Sealer, Gallon, Gloss is a sealer and finish product that is ideal for use on cabinets and wood floors. The sealer goes on easier on horizontal surfaces than vertical ones, but the result is the same, just a slower process. The product can be applied over an oil-based stain as long as the stain is fully dry before using any water-based finish. One customer found this product to work well on her counters, giving the wood a beautiful finish while protecting it without making it shiny. However, another customer found the product to bubble after sitting for a day and was not durable, even after multiple coats. Overall, while some customers had a positive experience with this product, others found it to be overpriced and not as effective as alternative products. One customer even reported that the product caused them to lose time because it raised the grain and left the surface sticky, requiring them to re-sand the project.
