The Mackie Control Universal Pro is a reliable and easy-to-use 8-channel control surface with USB connectivity. It works seamlessly with Pro Tools 11 and Logic X, and is plug-and-play with no drivers necessary on Catalina. The unit also works with Reaper and Reason 8. Although it does not send a wireless signal for use with hearing aids, you can connect a third-party Bluetooth sender to send audio signal to your hearing aids. Some users have reported occasional display blackout, but it turns on again by itself. The device is built like a tank and has a professional and well-designed look. It is a great addition for musicians and producers working from home. However, there have been some issues reported with cosmetic damage and receiving the wrong model. Please note that some faders may not work properly and calibration may be required. Overall, the Mackie Control Universal Pro is highly recommended for its reliability and usability.
