The Nathan Extended Straw with Bite Top 2PK is a great alternative to using a water bladder on a running vest. The reviewer loves using them and doesn't mind the cleaning issue of the cap at the end. They have found a solution to keep the caps clean by only using water in them and freezing them after use. The reviewer finds it a pain to access their waistband with a bottle in it, and prefer to pull the straw to their mouth. The tops of the straws are tucked under straps on the shoulders of the vest to keep them from being a distraction. The reviewer makes sure to bring their own fluids to races as they've been to races where support has broken down. The straws performed well on their training runs for a long duration. However, a customer was disappointed when the new straws leaked when placed on their soft flask.
