The controller does not have an auto shut-off feature like some other models, but it does have a standard three-prong grounded female plug for the pump. The two sensors work together to keep the water at level, and the display should never fall in water if used in an AIO tank. It does not come with a pump, but it has a place to plug one in. If the high level sensor does not work, the controller will not shut down on a timed safety. If the pump does not stop, users should unplug the pump power.
