The manufacturer confirms that the pre-drilled holes are evenly laid out and clearly marked, they are M6 x 1.0 threaded and not compatible with Dell Ready Rails, although rails can be attached manually. Extra shelves can be bought separately. The 42U rack is solid and well-drilled with proper spacing for different size options. Rack screws will strip if not hand screwed and proper quality is not used. The rack is lightweight and easy to move around with a sturdy feel. It is a good option for those on a budget but still care about quality. Customers were happy with the solid Construction, quality, and usefulness of the rack, with some using it for home entertainment systems and home labs. Some reviewers did not find the instructions very helpful, and some complained about stripped screws.
