However, these hangers are not suitable for heavy clothes, such as winter coats, as the hanger hook may pop out of the hanger base. The adjustable extensions tend to come off easily and do not stay put, making it a bit tricky to use. The rounded hanger part snaps into the arm, and too much force may break the stem that fits into the arm. The round hanger part is also not wide enough to fit into a standard closet rod.
