The Solar Cable Entry Gland is a waterproof ABS double cable gland box designed for solar panels and caravans. While it may not be exactly what some customers were looking for, it serves its purpose adequately for others. One customer found that the product did not have cable access, but decided to drill holes in the casing for cables since it was going to be used indoors. However, they were disappointed to discover that the MC4 connectors included with the product lacked a cable grip and a way to keep the connector inserts and cable from sliding back out. They resorted to using ordinary connectors after enlarging the holes for them. Additionally, another customer mentioned that there was no silicone seal included, despite it being stated in the product description. Some customers had more positive experiences with the product. One customer found it easy to mount on their van's roof, both by sticking and screwing it. Another customer mentioned that the product is acceptable, but the quality of the connectors was poor and they had to replace them. However, overall they thought it was worth buying. Another customer appreciated the fast delivery and found the product to be small enough for their needs, expecting a technician to install it.
